During the challenging times of the Covid-19 pandemic in March 2021, Fil Rouge Capital became Typing AI Biometrics' guiding force. They not only helped streamline the company's incorporation process but also connected us with essential legal and accounting firms, enabling us to establish a robust operational framework. Their guidance extended beyond paperwork; they fine-tuned our pitch, revamped our marketing strategy, and equipped us with effective sales techniques. 5. CroAI Startups Pitch Competition: Following FRC's invitation, Typing AI led the way by being the inaugural startup to pitch in October 2022, amplifying our presence and influence. This event took place in Zagreb, Croatia.
6. Google AI Startup Program – Scale Tier: The prestigious selection in September 2023 and the $300,000 Google Cloud credits fortified our technological advancement and market position.
7. The Europas Awards: The pinnacle moment arrived in November 2023 when Typing AI Biometrics was nominated as a Cyber Security startup of the year finalist at The Europas, held in Lisbon, Portugal. This recognition validated our commitment to innovation and tech excellence.
“Why you should not accelerate twice”
The programs I've encountered, like YCombinator's Startup School and the Advancing AI initiative powered by Techcelerator, each had their drawbacks. The former felt competitive and lacked constructive interaction, while the latter, despite being informative, didn't provide intensive guidance.
However, the Fil Rouge Capital Accelerator program stood out remarkably. With daily sessions spanning three months, it offered a comprehensive roadmap. We honed our pitch, focused our startup, and gained invaluable insights from a diverse range of guests.
Most notably, the sessions with FRC partners were a goldmine, guiding us on development, marketing, and sales strategies. The accelerator's finale, pitch recordings viewed by numerous investors, and a detailed list of interested investor contacts set this program apart.
The perks, valued at over $500K, surpassed other VC offerings, connecting us with industry giants like Amazon AWS, Microsoft, Google, local companies such as Nlaw, Game of Numbers, Mail Boxes Etc. and more.
